Summer hasn’t quite made it on our British soil… yet! With engagement Read more
Our team are here to provide the food for every occasion be it a small dinner party or a large charity event to your hen party or that romantic hamper in the park.
After setting up a small catering company during her university years she built up her experience cooking throughout Britain and Europe. She then joined By Word of Mouth as a party planner where she gained a huge amount of knowledge on how to run and organise events on top of serving good food.
There she worked on a number of prestigious events and increased her passion for food by learning from some incredibly talented chefs.
In 2009 Clemmie left to join Sugar & Spice and in 2012 she took over and now runs the company using her wide experience of events, clients and quality food.
Lucy first got into cooking after finishing her drama degree. She decided to not go down the acting path as originally planned and signed onto a cookery course. On day 2 she realised she had found her passion and hasn’t looked back since.
Lucy has worked in many different kitchens varying from a large private estate to several Michelin starred restaurants including Nathan Outlaw in Cornwall, L’autre pied in London, La Motte and The Tasting Room in Franschhoek.
Lucy joined us in September as head chef and has brought all her experience and fabulous menu ideas with her, lucky Sugar & Spice!
Rosie’s cooking career started six years ago when she attended Bally Maloe Cookery School on a three month course. She graduated with 100% in her technique exam and she hasn’t stopped cooking since.
Rosie has gained most of her experience working in restaurants around the Oxford area including The Rusty Bicycle and The Nut Tree and has been able to bring her love of good British grub along with her to our kitchen.
Luckily for us Rosie did a ski season in France where she met Lucy in 2012 and they have remained firm friends ever since.
The Sugar & Spice team have greatly benefitted from her calmness and attention to detail that she brings to the S & S kitchen table.
Laura joined Sugar & Spice in December 2014 and is our admin mean machine. In charge of all things PR, marketing and admin based she has enabled Clemmie to focus on her passion of cooking and nutrition.
Prior to coming to Sugar & Spice, Laura worked in Sports PR for 5 years. This work included organising large charity events for over 800 people to entertaining high profile clients and journalists.
She is still using her PR experience and having left the sporting world behind she does occasionally wish that sport was more at the forefront so she could run off some of those chocolate brownies she gorges on every day. Very important to have a resident taster in situ.
